The brand was founded in 2001 by Gerald Ghislain after extensive training at the French school of perfumery ISIPCA. He was inspired by the great works and exploits of famous historical figures and decided to immortalize their images in fragrant works of art. Bra nd concepts are the creation of an olfactory library. Ghislain intended that when you “open” each fragrance, you experience the same sensation as opening a volume of a good book. You know that you are about to take an exciting journey, but you have no idea where it will take you. Histoires de Parfums is a collection of sensual and sophisticated fragrances that tell about famous personalities who lived in the 18th and19th centuries, the components for creating luxurious fragrances, music and significant events of the past. The stylish packaging of Histoires De Parfums bottles, reminiscent of book covers, also supports the brand's concept. In the collection "DATES", Gerald Ghislain brought back to life the legendary characters of bygone times by creating fragrances dedicated to the great George Sand, the brilliant Jules Gabriel Verne, the brave and artistic Mata Hari, the majestic Empress Eugenia, and the mythical Casanova. The compositions created by Gerald Ghislain will be able to truly captivate you and allow you to see those bright and inimitable pictures that these legendary figures once saw. The olfactory pyramids of fragrances are reminiscent of poems - each line adds depth to the work, the heart notes rhyme with the top and bottom notes, creating a euphonious and meaningful composition. Another collection, "This is not a Blue Bottle", was named after the painting “La trahison des images” - "Image betrayal" by the Belgian artist René François Ghislain Magritte. It depicts a smoking pipe, under which is written Ceci n’est pas une pipe - “This is not a pipe.” Today, the brand’s portfolio includes more than 50 compositions, as well as a line of bath products. Chislain says: "My Perfumes have never been about a quest for the most beautiful scent, but always for the most beautiful emotion."
